Knihobot is a recommerce platform operating in 9 markets, shipping books to 40 countries, with over 10 million books sold. We are the 16th fastest growing tech startup in the CEE region. Every day we sell around 30,000 books.
The role
We're not looking for someone to execute specs. You'll identify what needs to be built, design it, and ship it end to end – with direct access to Dominik Gazdoš (CEO) and David Gazdoš (CTO). A lot of freedom, a lot of responsibility.
What you'll work on
- End-to-end ownership: From identifying the problem to shipping the fix. No handoffs.
- Direct UX impact: You have strong opinions on how things should work.
- Agentic development: AI tools are a core part of how we build. You're expected to use them to deliver complex features independently and fast.
- Tech stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, AdonisJS.
What we're looking for
- You've already built things: Websites, apps, products – something real that works. Show us what you've shipped.
- You're anchored in both design and dev: You've worked across the full stack, ideally as the single person responsible for the outcome.
- You don't wait for a ticket: You identify what needs to be built and you start.
- End-to-end is the main reason you're here: Not a compromise. You want the space to design and build – and you're done with everything else getting in the way.

What we offer
- Salary 84,000 – 156,000 CZK/month
- Direct collaboration with our founders Dominik and David
- $50/month budget for AI tools of your choosing, more if justified
- Full onsite at Kolbenova, moving closer to the city centre later this year
