Head of Service GTM & Growth

The Head of Service GTM & Growth is responsible for driving growth and value for telco partners, helping them expand their customer base and revenue by providing tailored resources, content, and strategic guidance. At the same time, Head of Service GTM & Growth is responsible for supporting and educating the Whalebone teams in this regard, especially the Aura Customer Success team.
  

Role Description

The role focuses on empowering partners to grow their security subscriber base and revenue by providing marketing expertise and know-how, tailored marketing materials, hands-on consultations, and leading cross-functional teams to create impactful content. Head of Service GTM & Growth will proactively identify and fulfill the marketing needs of our partners, ensuring that Whalebone is seen as a trusted and active partner in their growth journey.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Content Creation: Develop and lead the creation of actionable marketing strategies and materials tailored to the needs of telco partners. This includes templates, marketing collateral, and resources to help partners effectively promote and sell Whalebone’s products.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively seek ideas and ways how to engage with customers and increase their awareness of our product(s) market potential (together with other teams like CSM)
  • SCALE Framework Marketing Part Ownership: Own the marketing activities aligned with each stage of the SCALE Framework. Prepare both internal and external materials to support telco partners throughout their growth journey as well as Whalebone CSM.
  • Workshops and Consultations: Provide hands-on marketing consultations, workshops, and brainstorming sessions for telco marketing teams to ensure they understand and are equipped to sell Whalebone’s products effectively.
  • Collaboration with External Experts and Agencies: Lead external teams (e.g., agencies, consultants) in the development of marketing content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with Whalebone’s brand and objectives.
  • CSM Support: Collaborate with the CSM team to provide marketing support to customer accounts, including tailored recommendations, campaign ideas, and addressing any marketing-related needs.
  • Best Practices and Insights Sharing: Facilitate the sharing of best practices among telcos, monitor the success of different marketing initiatives across markets, and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.
  • Training Academy for customers and Whalebone customer facing teams focused especially on Telco GTM, knowhow sharing
  • Alignment with the Product & Sales enablement team members for product USPs, descriptions and positioning
  • Manage the area budget: ensuring effective resource allocation to support priority initiatives, incl. growing the team and/or resources needed
  • Thought Leadership and Personal Branding: Build a strong external presence to drive awareness and engagement in GTM, cybersecurity, fostering trust and credibility among telco partners, key stakeholders and final customers, and thus elevate Whalebone’s market positioning


     

    Since the area is being re-established, Head of Service GTM & Growth is expected to re-design the responsibilities and interactions with other teams as the case may be.
